Pedro Severino Injured Against Tampa
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Pedro Severino (knee) left Saturday's contest against the Rays. Severino exited because of a right knee contusion and was replaced by Austin Wynns behind the dish in the fourth inning. The 28-year-old is batting just .238 throughout 248 at-bats this season, so a potential stint on the injured list likely won't impact fantasy managers too much. Nonetheless, an update will likely be coming soon, but the backstop should be considered day-to-day at the moment, although it wouldn't be breaking news if he weren't in the lineup on Sunday for the series finale against Tampa Bay.
