Pekka Rinne Shuts Out Maple Leafs On Monday
6 years agoNashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne made 18 saves en route to his third shutout of the season during a 4-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. It was a solid rebound performance for the Finnish netminder as Rinne was not playing great heading into the contest. He now has a 16-10-2 record to go along with a 2.23 goals-against average and .921 save percentage. Mattias Ekholm, P.K. Subban, Colton Sissons, and Kevin Fiala all scored in the contest. The Predators will be back in action on Wednesday night in Chicago against the Blackhawks.
