Pessimism Surrounding DeAndre Hopkins' Week 9 Status
3 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) remains a true game-time decision against the 49ers this week, but the team "doesn't sound as optimistic" that he'll play, according to Adam Schefter. We'll have official word on his status around 2:55 p.m. Eastern. If he doesn't play, Arizona would rely on Christian Kirk, Rondale Moore, Chase Edmonds, and Zach Ertz as its top pass-catchers. However, Kyler Murray's (ankle) status is also up in the air, so it's possible that the Cardinals go run-heavy if they don't have their alpha receiver or MVP-candidate quarterback.
