3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in the Mets 8-4 loss to the Nationals on Monday. It was Alonso's twelfth homer of the season, though his first since June 20. With a batting average of .458 over his last seven games, and solid power metrics including an elite average exit velocity and elite barrel rate, Alonso should remain active in all fantasy formats. He is slashing .267/.351/.467 with 12 HR and 38 RBI over 225 at-bats on the season and should continue to produce for fantasy managers.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
