3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 1-for-4 with a clutch two-run double in the seventh inning of the Mets 4-2 win over the Brewers on Monday. While Alonso is only hitting .154 over his last seven games (4-for-26), he's made his hits count with three home runs, one double, and seven RBI. For the season, Alonso is slashing .255/.338/.474 with 15 homers, 10 doubles, and 45 RBI in 71 games.
