3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 1-for-4 with a 453 ft two-run home run in the Mets 6-3 loss to the Braves on Thursday. Alonso continues to hit the ball well having now hit nine home runs in the month of July. He is batting .321 with six homers in the 14 games played since the All-Star break and has 23 home runs and 62 RBI on the season. On pace for just under 40 homers in 2021, Alonso could be a difference-maker down the stretch in fantasy leagues if he continues to remain hot through September.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
