3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso didn't record a hit against the Miami Marlins Wednesday, but he did reach twice via the walk in five plate appearances. On one of those occasions, he took advantage of a snoozing Zach Thompson to steal his second base of the season. It was only the fourth of Alonso's career, and he has yet to be caught. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect too many more bases, but it's a nice bonus for a power-hitter providing an .830 OPS and 24 homers in 250 at-bats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
