3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso won the 2021 Home Run Derby in Colorado on Monday, defeating Baltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini in the final round 23-22. In total, Alonso hit 74 home runs in the contest. It was Alonso's second straight Home Run Derby championship. Alonso is hitting .257/.337/.483 with 16 HR, 11 doubles, and 48 RBI in 74 games in 2021.
