3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a walk in the Mets 9-4 win over the Washington Nationals on Sunday. Alonso is now batting a career-high .262 due, in part, to a career-low strikeout rate of 20.3% and a career-high overall hard-hit rate of 46.3%. On the season, Alonso is slashing .262/.343/.503 with 29 home runs, 76 RBI, 17 doubles, and 64 runs scored over 120 games.
