3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the Mets 4-2 loss to Zack Wheeler and the Phillies on Sunday. Alonso raised his batting average to .261 on the season and he is now slashing .375/.444/.417 over his last seven games (24 at-bats). Though Alonso's bat has warmed up, he has only homered one time since June 11. Despite the recent power outage, Alonso should remain active in all fantasy lineups with his bat heating up. The home run stroke should return given elite hard hit and barrel rates, as well as an average exit velocity of 93 mph which is in the top 5% of MLB.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
