4 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso, after a brief hot spell, is now just 1-for-15 over his past five games. Alonso went 0-for-2 with two walks in the Mets' 4-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Sunday. He is hitting just .238 with no home runs and one RBI over his past seven games (21 at-bats), though he has posted a very solid .467 on-base percentage. Despite the current struggles, Alonso is one of the game's top power hitters who should remain active in all fantasy formats.
