3 years agoNew York Mets' first baseman Pete Alonso's (hand) X-rays on his right hand came back negative Tuesday night, per MLB.com's Anthony DiComo. Alonso exited Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres after being hit in the right hand with a pitch. This is good initial news for Alonso and fantasy managers, although he will undergo further tests to be sure there are no broken bones in his hand. As such, he is considered day-to-day for the time being. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor news on Alonso, as they will need to figure out how to replace a .282/.363/.546 slash line with 16 home runs and 54 RBI if he ends up needing to miss any significant time.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
