3 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Pete Fairbanks exited Wednesday's game with a trainer, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Fairbanks hit one batter and then allowed an RBI single before he left the game in the 10th inning. There's no word yet on the injury or severity, but managers should keep an eye on this situation as Fairbanks has been one of the key players in the back end of Tampa Bay's bullpen, going 3-3 with 10 holds, five saves, a 3.48 ERA and 1.32 WHIP over 31 innings of work.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
