Peter Lambert Rocked On Wednesday
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Peter Lambert took a no-decision on Wednesday when he allowed five runs on eight hits with one walk and one strikeout over two-plus innings. Lambert had another rough go in his second start of the season, surrendering five runs over his two-plus innings. The Nationals hit a ton of singles and doubles off him and capitalized with runners in scoring position. Luckily this game turned into a bit of a shootout and the Rockies stormed back to take the lead, letting Lambert off the hook. Through just two starts (5 2/3 innings), the 24-year-old has compiled an 11.12 ERA, 2.47 WHIP, and 3:2 K/BB ratio. Yikes.
