6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek stopped all 33 shots he faced in Saturday's 3-0 victory against the Dallas Stars for his third shutout of the season. The Hurricanes also moved into a wild-card playoff spot with the victory. Carolina is 16-5-1 over the past 22 games, most wins in the NHL during the span. A huge reason for the success has been the play of Mrazek and Curtis McElhinney, two unheralded goaltenders making the most of their opportunity in Raleigh.
