6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek allowed two goals on 38 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Mrazek allowed a late goal to Kris Letang on a rush by the Penguins, but the offense atoned with a goal after emptying the net, forcing overtime. Mrazek has been lights out, going 19-13-3 with a 2.50 goals-against average and .909 save percentage over 35 starts to keep the Hurricanes squarely in the mix for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Hurricanes host the Lightning on Thursday.--Daniel Dobish
