6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek turned aside all 31 shots he faced in Friday's 1-0 overtime victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the New York Islanders in Brooklyn. Mrazek made a handful of sensational saves, showing off a quick glove hand. He was matched by Robin Lehner through regulation, as the game went to OT in a scoreless tie. The shutout was Mrazek's second of the postseason. He and his Hurricanes teammates will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead in Sunday's afternoon battle in Game 2 at Barclays Center.--Daniel Dobish
