Petr Mrazek Inks Two-Year Deal To Remain In Raleigh
5 years agoThe Carolina Hurricanes re-signed goaltender Petr Mrazek to a two-year contract worth $3 million in 2019-20 and $3.25 million for the 2020-21 season. Mrazek's signing likely means Alex Nedeljkovic remains the backstop for Charlotte of the AHL, on speed-dial in case Mrazek or newcomer James Reimer go down with an injury. Carolina was able to get their man and keep Mrazek at the last minute, now it will be all eyes on general manager Don Waddell and owner Tom Dundon, as they decide whether to match an offer sheet from the Montreal Canadiens to All-Star and restricted free agent Sebastian Aho.
