6 years agoBuccaneers running back Peyton Barber was disappointing Sunday against the Saints. Barber rushed 18 times for just 69 yards and no touchdowns in what ended up being a 48 point beatdown on New Orleans. The starting running back was touted as the Bucs' workhorse going into this season, and his volume suggests it. However, it's a shame that he couldn't capitalize on his role with more production. The game-script was favorable and he had the opportunities, but just six~ fantasy points to show for it against an average run defense is disappointing. Most notably, Barber was not targeted even once in the passing game. He will be a liability in all PPR leagues if this becomes a trend. Barber will get another opportunity to showcase why he deserves the weekly starting nod Sunday against the Eagles in what should prove to be an even tougher matchup.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
