Phil Hughes Activated from DL, Starting for Twins on Sunday
7 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Phil Hughes has been activated from the disabled list and is starting on Sunday against the Rays. Hughes had been on the DL with an oblique strain. The Twins pitcher has appeared in just 26 games the past two seasons and is coming off of surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome. Couple that with his daunting 4.47 career ERA and Hughes makes for an untrustworthy streamer on Sunday, even against a bad Rays team.
