Phil Hughes Struggles In Second Start
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Phil Hughes struggled in his second start of the season, allowing the Cincinnati Reds to score four runs in 3 2/3 innings. Hughes allowed five hits and walked two while logging three strikeouts in the game. The veteran hurler, who opened the season on the disabled list with an oblique strain, now has a 7.71 ERA and five strikeouts in seven innings of work. Injuries have ruined his past few seasons and he is no longer a trustworthy fantasy option.
