3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) has been given the green light to return to the field for Sunday's contest against the Saints, having been activated from injured reserve Saturday. Sanders has missed the Eagles' past three games with an ankle injury, with his return taking much of the fantasy shine off the trio of Jordan Howard, Kenneth Gainwell, and Boston Scott. While Sanders began the year as the most exciting of Philly's backfield options, he has yet to find the end zone this season and has logged double-digit carries in just three of his seven appearances. The 24-year-old may be the freshest of the group, but how the snaps will be divvied remains unclear. Facing the Saints' top-ranked rush defense (72.9 yards per game), Sanders will be a risky FLEX play at best in season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
