Eagles Defense - Week 1 Outlook for Fantasy Football

2 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense opens the regular season on the road against the Detroit Lions. The Eagles made multiple additions this offseason, including LB Haasan Reddick, CB James Bradberry, LB Kyzir White, S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, rookie DT Jordan Davis, and rookie LB Nakobe Dean. The upgraded back seven should go a long way at defending the pass after allowing 28 passing touchdowns last season, which tied the New York Jets for the 12th most in the league. Going against a Lions offense led by a turnover-prone Jared Goff, Philadelphia is a sneaky good fantasy option in Week 1. The Eagles are 4-point road favorites and are going against an offense that ranked 25th in total points scored in 2021.
