Philadelphia Plans To Name Week 16 Starting QB On Monday
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts delivered a masterful performance during Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, compiling 399 yards of combined offense to go along with four touchdowns. But that was not enough for head coach Doug Pederson to tab him as the team's starter for Week 16 versus Dallas. Pederson noted that he would likely announce his starting QB on Monday, which is almost certainly going to be Hurts, as opposed to Carson Wentz. After a solid performance in his first start against a tremendous Saints Defense, Hurts put together eye-popping numbers against a solid Cardinals unit, which puts him in consideration for QB1 status in deeper season-long leagues should he ultimately be tabbed to face the Cowboys.
