Philip Rivers A Low-End QB1 In Week 5
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers is having a bounce-back year on his new team but has yet to put up impressive fantasy stats. The Colts lost their first game of the season where Rivers threw 46 times. The Colts have won their last three games, and Rivers has not thrown the ball over 30 times in any of those contests. He has a difficult road test this week at Cleveland and may throw the ball a bit more than he has over the last few weeks. The Browns have been solid against the run, allowing less than four yards per carry, but their pass defense has been awful, surrendering the second most passing touchdowns on the season. The Colts will likely look to establish the run early, but Rivers may be forced to throw more than usual if the ground game is not effective.
