Philip Rivers Looks To Rebound In Indianapolis
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers had a tough 2019 season in Los Angeles, going 5-11 and finishing with the second-worst quarterback rating of his career. He will get a fresh start in Indianapolis, where he inherits one of the best offensive lines in football. Rivers' lack of mobility at his age makes protection even more important. He will face a rebuilding Jacksonville team in Week 1 that ranked in the bottom 20 in yards and points against last season. Rivers has seen a lot of success against Jacksonville over his career, with 24 touchdowns, five interceptions and a passer rating of 119.1. Rivers should be considered an under-the-radar QB1 option this week.
