Philipp Grubauer Gets Nod in Net Sunday

2 years agoSeattle Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer will be in the net Sunday night against the San Jose Sharks. The veteran goaltender has been having a well-publicized poor season for the expansion club and enters the contest with an ugly .888 save percentage and 3.17 GAA. He's been better over his past three starts with an average of three goals allowed per game during that stretch -- while facing a lot of shots on net. The Sharks will be playing on back-to-back nights and have had four games in the past seven days so now might be a good time to bet big on Grubauer and the Kraken. The club is mired in a long losing streak but they've been off since Thursday and should be well-rested. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
