4 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Philipp Grubauer will be the team's starter for Friday's meeting with the Kings. The German netminder has a 13-7-0 record for the season with a 2.05 goals-against average, a .917 save percentage, and three shutouts. He's been very good throughout the campaign, and the team has helped him a lot as well, especially lately as Colorado has allowed just 14 shots on goal in each of the last two games. The Kings have nine wins in the last 14 meetings between the two teams, so while Grubauer and the Avalanche look like big favorites for the clash, it might not be as straightforward as it seems.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
