7 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies have claimed New York Mets outfielder Jose Bautista on revocable trade waivers, according to sources. The two teams are discussing a trade, but it would need to be finalized by Tuesday. The veteran outfielder slumped badly at the start of August but has a .738 OPS in has last 14 games. Overall this year, Bautista is hitting .199/.340/.368 with 11 home runs and 42 RBI in 94 games with the Braves and Mets.
