3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton is gaining interest from the Philadelphia Phillies, who may attempt to trade for him prior to Friday's trade deadline, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. It was reported earlier Sunday that Buxton had rejected a contract extension offer from the Twins, which has added fuel to speculation that he could be traded. Buxton is still on the injured list with a fractured left hand, so that could end up affecting whether or not he is dealt prior to the deadline.
