2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies remain hopeful that second baseman Jean Segura (finger) will return from the 60-day injured list on Thursday. Interim manager Rob Thomson said Segura might hit lower in the lineup upon his return. He's been out since May 31 with a broken right index finger, but fantasy managers should be getting him back this week. The 32-year-old middle infielder went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a walk in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, and he looks set to return to the big-league lineup. He should return to his starting role at the keystone for the Phillies and needs to be rostered in all fantasy leagues. Before his injury, Segura was hitting .275/.324/.407 with six home runs, 19 RBI, 22 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 167 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
