Phillies Looking For More From Aaron Nola
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola will make his first appearance in nearly two weeks as he's set to come off the COVID-19 list to start Tuesday at the Yankees. Nola has not lived up to preseason expectations, as he's only 6-5 with an unflattering 4.53 ERA. According to pitching coach Caleb Cotham, Nola made some adjustments during his layoff and hopes to be the pitcher the Phillies have come to know in the second half. Nola should also see some luck-based improvement, as his FIP (3.47), xFIP (3.36) and SIERA (3.28) all imply he's been unlucky to have an ERA over 4.50. Nola makes for a strong buy-low target in fantasy and can be started versus a depleted Yankees lineup on Tuesday.
