2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies placed right-hander Zack Wheeler (forearm) on the 15-day injured list with right forearm tendinitis on Thursday, with the move being retroactive to Aug. 22. It comes after he has given up 10 runs in 11 1/3 innings over his last two outings, so it's possible Wheeler had been pitching through some discomfort. The 32-year-old is still 11-7 with a 3.07 ERA (2.98 FIP), 1.08 WHIP, 148 strikeouts and 33 walks in 138 innings over 23 starts the for the Phillies and needs to be stashed in all fantasy leagues while he's on the shelf.
