3 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies recalled infielder Nick Maton from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to replace Jean Segura (groin), who was placed on the injured list. Maton, along with fellow utility infielders Luke Williams and Ronald Torreyes, will fill in at shortstop and second base while Segura and Didi Gregorius (elbow) work their way back from their respective injuries. Maton is known as a defensive infielder and has struck out 32.7 percent of the time in 39 MLB games. He's not an asset for fantasy baseball at this time.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
