2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies reinstated shortstop Didi Gregorius (knee) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday and placed infielder Nick Maton (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder sprain in a corresponding move. Gregorius is expected to return to the lineup on Sunday against Los Angeles Angels left-hander Patrick Sandoval after he was sidelined for a month. The 32-year-old veteran shortstop went 3-for-15 with a home run in five minor league rehab games and will return to a .288/.338/.356 slash line with no home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored in 18 games with the Phillies prior to his injury. Gregorius' return is big for a beat up Phillies team that recently lost second baseman Jean Segura to a fractured finger.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
