Phillies Suspend Workouts After Coach, Staffer Test Positive
4 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies have suspended workouts at Citizens Bank Ballpark after Wednesday's round of testing showed a coach and a clubhouse staffer tested positive for COVID-19. All players tested negative, but this is still concerning after the Phillies played the Marlins on Sunday after known positive tests with Miami. Philadelphia's schedule is on hold due to playing the Marlins, but the plan is for them to play a doubleheader Saturday in Philadelphia, as the road team, vs the Blue Jays. Assuming the players continue to test negative the games should continue as planned, but this is a situation fantasy players need to monitor for Phillies and Blue Jays players on their roster.
