3 years agoVeteran wide receiver Phillip Dorsett is signing with the Houston Texans after he visited the team on Friday, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly. Dorsett was cut from the Seattle Seahawks practice squad after catching his only target for three yards in two games played for Seattle this year. He also was active for one game with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 and couldn't haul in his only target. The 28-year-old former first-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts will give the Texans some more receiver depth with Danny Amendola potentially out up to four weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on his knee on Tuesday.
