4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Phillip Evans went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, one RBI and two runs scored in an 8-2 win over the Cubs on Saturday. Evans has looked good at the plate with Ke'Bryan Hayes on the injured list, slashing .391/.462/.826 with three home runs, four RBI and five runs scored in seven games. When Hayes returns, we will likely see Evans' playing time get reduced, although he could play some games in the outfield.
