6 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is a victim of circumstance. Clearly an extremely gifted back, Lindsay just so happens to share the backfield with another talented rookie in Royce Freeman - each eating into the other's fantasy value. The Broncos draw a Jets defense in Week 5 which has been middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing RBs but has also held opposing RBs to just 3.47 yards per carry this season (fourth-fewest). Combine the deceptive matchup with Broncos head coach Vance Joseph indicating that Freeman has earned the opportunity to see more carries, and you have to consider Lindsay a flex option this week.--Leonard Francis II
