6 years agoMany expected Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay to shine in the absence of fellow RB mate Royce Freeman. He didn't disappoint. Lindsay's performance wasn't quite enough to lead the Broncos to a victory Sunday, but he picked up 95 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries while adding an additional 17 yards on three receptions - leaving his fantasy owners to wonder... What if? How long Freeman is out remains to be seen, but the Broncos will face a stout Texans run defense in Week 9 which limits Lindsay's appeal regardless of Freeman's status.--Leonard Francis II
