6 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay picked up 30 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries while adding another 21 yards on four receptions in the Broncos 20-14 loss to the 49ers. The Broncos offensive unit continues to underperform as a whole, but Lindsay came into this game as one of the hottest RBs in the league so I wouldn't put too much stock into the quiet afternoon. Lindsay saw seven targets in the Broncos first game without wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, which is an encouraging sign for his prospects down the stretch in PPR leagues, and he'll look to bounce back in Week 15 when the Broncos welcome the Browns.--Leonard Francis II
