6 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay turned 14 carries into 24 yards while picking up an additional 20 yards through the air on four receptions in the Broncos 17-16 loss to the Cleveland Browns Saturday night. Lindsay was bottled up all evening with his 44 scrimmage yards marking his lowest total in a game this season (excluding the ejection-shortened Week 3). He's now put up rather pedestrian numbers in back-to-back games, and appears to be returning to Earth in advance of the team's Week 16 matchup with the Oakland Raiders. The recent play is alarming, but Oakland has been one of the more generous teams to opposing RBs so Lindsay should remain in the RB2 conversation.--Leonard Francis II
