Phillip Lindsay Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

2 years agoHouston Texans running back Phillip Lindsay faces one of his better matchups of the season in Week 9. The Texans backfield is now more open following Mark Ingram II's departure for New Orleans, and Lindsay figures to be one of the primary options to lead the way as a ball-carrier. Of course, it didn't play out that way against the Rams last week, though the 1-7 Dolphins present the Houston offense with a unique opportunity they haven't had since Week 1: a positive game script. The Texans could find themselves playing with a lead this week- which could open things up for the running game against a Miami defense that has allowed the 10th-most rushing yards to halfbacks. Lindsay could be a decent, cheap option in DFS this week.--Tim Capurso
