6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garcon (knee, shoulder) will likely play in Week 7 but is not an appealing fantasy option. Garcon is second on the team with 39 targets but has often been a last-ditch read for quarterback C.J. Beathard. He has only 225 total receiving yards and been held to under 50 yards in four of six contests. Fantasy owners considering Garcon are banking on a touchdown, something he hasn’t delivered in 17 straight games. He’s either due or simply not emphasized in the red zone.
