5 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz may return from the injured list Monday when first eligible. He landed on the shelf last weekend with a wrist injury, but has made a speedy recovery as expected. Cruz has been on fire in the second half hitting .333 with 16 homers in 25 games showing little age as a 39-year-old. He's been limited to 87 games this year, but has produced nearly full-season totals with 32 dingers, 76 RBI, and a .294 batting average this season. Cruz will hopefully join the Twins for a six-game homestand this week as they continue to battle the Indians for the AL Central title.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
