Jaguars Not Married To Drafting A Running Back Early
5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette has been on the trading block all offseason, and with rumors continuing to heat up about a trade, Jaguars.com's John Oehser was asked what the Jaguars would do in the NFL draft if they moved Fournette before Thursday. Oehser believes that Jacksonville should already target a running back in the middle rounds, but even in a scenario where Fournette is moved, the team wouldn't go after a first- or second-round running back. That would likely push Jacksonville out of the conversation for some of the top backs in this class and signal that whoever they picked was headed for a running back committee with Ryquell Armstead, a situation that would be a possible headache for fantasy owners.
