6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Zach Pop has been dealt to the Baltimore Orioles in a package for Manny Machado. Pop does not currently rank in the team's top 30 prospects, however, he was a seventh round pick in 2017 and has shown potential. Over 35 minor league games, Pop holds a 0.93 ERA with a 52/15 K/BB ratio. He has converted seven saves. Pop has yet to appear beyond High-A and will take a while to reach the major leagues. Despite his lack of professional experience, Pop has shined during his time in the minors and could be a dynamic option out of the Orioles bullpen sometime in the future.--Dan Fappiano
