Pump The Brakes On T.J. Hockenson
5 years agoDetroit Lions rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson was able to play in Thursday's preseason blowout loss against the New England Patriots, but he did not have any receptions or targets. There were reports that the first-round pick had been running with the first-team offense this week ahead of Jesse James, but he did nothing in his debut. There will certainly be better days, but let's pump the brakes a bit on all of the hype and rapid movement up cheat sheets. Consider Hockenson as a low-end TE2 in most redraft fantasy leagues, while he has a little more value in long-term dynasty formats. James can mostly be avoided at this point.
