Quez Watkins Struggling To Stand Out

3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins has been solid with his opportunities so far this season, but has struggled to stand out. In Week 3, he was on the field for 66% of the offensive snaps the Eagles played, but ended up being targeted just twice. He's drawn seven targets through the first three weeks and has caught all seven, gaining 186 yards. He's shown enough to perhaps work his way into a bigger role on the Eagles offense, but for now he's not a starting asset in any standard scoring leagues. An injury to someone ahead of him on the depth chart could change that, but fantasy managers in shallow leagues don't need to take Watkins off the waiver wire just yet.
