3 years agoVancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes (lower body) is in contention to return to the lineup on Thursday against Chicago. The talent blueliner sat out Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Buffalo. Hughes averaged 27:39 a night on the ice in the first three games of the season, so his absence had left a huge gap to fill on the Canucks blueline. The 22-year-old had started the campaign with two points. If Hughes isn't ready to go on Thursday, then it looks very likely that his return will come in Saturday's matchup against Seattle.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
